This report, undertaken by Evidence, a Thomson Reuters businessoffers a comparison of India’s publication and citation impacts over a 27 year period (1981 to 2008) to those of the UK, USA, Germany, China, Japan, South Korea, France, Brazil and Australia.
This report offers an indication of the number of papers published by Indian researchers over a 27 year period and their citation impacts. It also shows a comparison across different countries of citation impacts in:

- health and medical research
- biological sciences
- environmental research
- mathematics
- physical sciences
- engineering
- social sciences
- business
- humanities
The report also highlights the top subject areas of UK-Indian highly cited co-authored papers and the institutions frequently associated with UK-Indian co-authored papers.
