New INDIGO Foresight exercise completed
As part of New INDIGO's analytical activities, the project has been running a foresight study on the future of S&T cooperation between India and Europe. Over the course of the last year, the foresight process engaged policy and programme-makers as well as scientists in discussions on driving factors of collaborative research and a successful future cooperation scenario.
The results of the foresight study will be presented during the 2nd EU-India S&T Cooperation Days (www.euindiacoop.org/2011) to be held in Vienna on 1 and 2 December 2011. The S&T Days will be preceded by a day dedicated to a final set of foresight workshops: Scientists and programme managers will discuss draft recommendations for programme design and implementation. Subsequently, the results will be presented to and discussed with the group of policy-makers in the India Pilot Initiative of the Strategic Forum for International S&T Cooperation during their session with Indian counterparts in Vienna on 30 November.
Soon after the S&T Days, the results of the foresight study will be available at www.newindigo.eu/foresight.
